Experience making Wasanbon
Wasanbon, which has a history of more than 200 years, is a type of sugar that is traditionally produced mainly in eastern Shikoku, such as Kagawa and Tokushima prefectures. It is a high-end sugar that boasts a unique flavor, elegant sweetness, fine particles, and good mouthfeel. The name of Sanbon comes from the unique sugar refinement process in Japan, which is called "grind sugar three times on a tray." The most important thing in making dried sweets is the choice of wooden mold. This wooden pattern is made by Shikoku's only craftsman, a traditional craftsman "Yoshihiro Ichihara", and is very valuable.
